一 | Karan Johar has praised Ranveer Singh for his recent film Dhurandhar. The filmmaker, who directed Singh in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, took to Instagram's story section to share the poster of the film and expressed his appreciation.

In Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh plays Hamza, an Indian spy sent to Pakistan to infiltrate a terror network. Set against the backdrop of the IC-814 hijacking in 1999 and the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the film follows Ajay Sanyal, the Intelligence Bureau Chief as he assigns Hamza a high-risk mission to dismantle the group operating across the border. Singh's performance as Hamza has been lauded by critics and fans alike.
Besides Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan and Brooklyn Nine Nine star Terry Crews have also praised the film and Singh for his performance.
Filmfare's Review of Dhurandhar
Filmfare rated the Aditya Dhar directorial 3.5 out of 5. Our reviewer noted, "At the centre of this world stands Ranveer Singh, playing the hard-edged agent who slips into the shadow world of sleeper operatives as a cross-border conspiracy erupts. It’s a performance of restraint, a departure from his flamboyant screen persona. This Ranveer is raw yet internalised, driven yet fraying. The role demands both physical ferocity and emotional weariness, and he delivers both with remarkable control. His silences speak as loudly as his action beats, grounding the film even when its narrative ambitions begin to overtake its focus."
Dhurandhar stars an ensemble cast including Singh, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Manav Gohil and Danish Pandor among others.

贵州苗族姑娘杨玉英在安置点做苗绣台风“白海豚”来势汹汹，风雨拍打着窗玻璃。上城区丁兰街道丁蕙第二幼儿园安置点，从河南来杭十余年的工友朱师傅，收到社区刚送来的崭新被褥。昨天上午8点左右，华鹤社区启动转移，3个工地59名工人陆续被安置到丁蕙第二幼儿园和丁蕙第二小学。社区党委书记韦玮在引导工友时发现，不少人铺盖简陋，有的只带了件薄外套当枕头。“这样过夜肯定不行，容易感冒。”韦玮当即安排社工就近采购。不到一小时，5套崭新的被褥和枕头就送到了。可是几位年长工友却舍不得拆开包装，一个劲地摆手：“不用不用，我们凑合一晚就行，别浪费东西。”社工们见状，索性动手，挨个帮他们拆开包装，把被子铺好，看着大家安心躺下才放心。下午，社区又为工友们送来了新鲜水果，让他们“营养更丰富一点”。当问到拿到新被子的感受时，朱师傅一边应着，一边特意向记者展示他细心叠好、放在枕边的塑料包装袋：“我们走的时候，要把垃圾都收拾干净。说句心里话，我们虽然是打工的，也要注意卫生，不能把人家娃娃们的教室弄脏了。
