During the event earlier this month, Ranveer landed in trouble after mimicking the daiva ritual from Kantara on stage. The act did not go down well with many, especially given the deep spiritual importance of the tradition.               Rishab Shetty breaks silence     Now, Kantara actor-director Rishab Shetty has broken his silence on the issue. Speaking at a Behindwoods event in Chennai, Rishab addressed the larger concern without directly naming Ranveer. He spoke honestly about the risks that come with making culturally rooted films. According to him, when a film like Kantara becomes hugely popular, there is always a danger that sacred traditions may slowly turn into pop culture acts.Rishab revealed that while making Kantara, he took advice from several elders to ensure that the rituals and beliefs were shown with utmost respect. However, once the film reached a wide audience, people began copying and performing the daiva sequences casually. “That makes me uncomfortable,” he said, adding that the daiva is not just a cinematic performance but a sacred and emotional element deeply tied to people’s lives. He mentioned that he often requests people not to recreate or mock it on public stages.               When Ranveer Singh mocked     The controversy originally began when Ranveer met Rishab at IFFI and mimicked the daiva twice, even after being asked not to. The incident triggered backlash online, with many calling it disrespectful. Ranveer later issued an apology on Instagram, clarifying that his intention was only to praise Rishab’s powerful performance in Kantara. He also said he deeply respects all cultures and traditions and expressed regret if his actions hurt anyone. Despite the debate, both actors continue to enjoy massive success. Kantara and Kantara: Chapter 1 remain among the highest-grossing Kannada films, while Ranveer’s Dhurandhar is currently one of the biggest hits of the year.     Also Read: Ranveer Singh Draws Criticism for His Comment on Kantara。    (ECNS) -- China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has authorized Zhejiang Geespace to conduct a two-year commercial trial of satellite Internet of Things (IoT) services, marking a further opening of the sector to private firms.    The company will use the first phase of the “Geely Future Mobility Constellation” to deliver widecoverage, low-power and reliable IoT connectivity. The services will support all-weather, intelligent data collection and remote interaction in areas including smart transportation, marine fisheries, energy and water management.    The MIIT said satellite IoT is expected to become an important complement to China’s broadband satellite internet as the commercialization of the country’s satellite communications industry accelerates.    The approval marks a further step toward opening satellite IoT services to private companies and is expected to stimulate the private sector and support the development of China’s commercial space industry.                        。
